Profore is a convenient presentation of the clinically effective 4 layer bandaging system for venous leg ulcer management. It reinforces a safe and consistent protocol to heal up to 79% of venous leg ulcers in 12 weeks.
Designed to deliver 40mmHg pressure at the ankle, decreasing to 17mmHg at the knee.
Reduces preparation time, simplifies stock control and ensures that the correct components are always available. Layering creates packing for bony prominences for protection. The use of layers also means compression is built up gradually. The multi-layer bandage system has sufficient absorption capacity for up to a week without needing re-application. The mulit-layer bandage system has been demonstrated to maintain effective levels of compression for up to one week.
